Preferred is looking to fill our Sales Support Specialist position. We are looking for a professional who will process sales with a customer-focused attitude, ensuring the client is satisfied, and needs met. They will also help identify potential clients, maintain databases, place orders, check-in equipment, manage lists, manage agreement renewals, dates, contracts and coordinating client scheduling with account managers.

Sales Support Specialist responsiblities include:

  • Providing equipment and labor quotes to clients
  • Processing approved orders and checking in equipment when received
  • Providing troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Providing data and guides to help the sales team
  • Managing agreements with clients for renewals with their Account Manager

Job Brief

We are looking for a qualified Sales support specialist to join our team. You will provide support to Technical Account Managers and respond to customer and prospect queries.

Our ideal candidate has 2 years or more, experience with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices. You should also be able to interpret sales metrics and be goal-oriented. We expect you to perform well in a team environment and have exceptional people skills.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to creating and maintaining good customer relationships and ensuring smooth sales team operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
  • Help identify potential clients
  • Maintain client databases
  • Place orders for approved quotes
  • Check-in received equipment
  • Manage marketing lists for new prospects and customers
  • Manage client and vendor agreement renewals (dates, contracts, Adobe eSign)
  • Coordinating client scheduling with account managers
  • Provide data and guides to help the sales team
  • Develop and monitor performance indicators
  • Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
  • Keep record of sales trends
  • Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
  • Review pending orders and specific customers’ requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience
  • Suggest sales process improvements

Requirement and Skills

  • Work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
  • Hands on experience with CRM systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Understanding of basic profit percentages
  • Detail orientated and organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Enjoys working with a team
  • BS degree in Marketing or associates degree in relevant field a plus

Working Hours

8am – 4:30pm. Monday – Friday
Hybrid Schedule at Tinley Park location – Monday and Thursdays
